Malta - Das maltesische Fernsehen PBS hat die 56 Titel inklusive seiner Interpreten vorgestellt, die am diesjährigen Vorentscheid für den Eurovision Song Contest in Moskau teilnehmen. Unter den Teilnehmern sind diverse frühere Teilnehmer, darunter Chiara (Malta 1998, 2005), Miriam Christine, Natasha & Charlene, Claudia Faniello, Rosman Pace und Klinsmann Coleiro.
Die meisten Songs stammen aus der Feder von Phillip Vella und Gerard J. Borg, wie jedes Jahr. Die Songs #25 und #32 ("Tonight at the opera" und "Blame it on your heart") sind Werke von Ralph Siegel und Bernd Meinunger alias John O'Flynn, die es erneut auf der Mittelmeerinsel versuchen.
Die erste Show der maltesischen Vorrunde "Eurovision Box" beginnt am 8. November.
